About the SPCA
Located in western Hernando County Florida. We provide so much more than shelter. Our sheltered pets enjoy calm and cozy living areas designed with their comfort and contentment in mind.
The Hernando County SPCA is a private Non-Profit organization whose mission is to shelter, spay/neuter and re-home as many cats and dogs in need as we can. We run strictly on donations. Our shelter has a No Kill policy which means that all sheltered pets processed into our facility are safe from being euthanized. If we do not find the perfect forever family for them, they will live with us for the rest of their natural life.

From RT 50 - Coretz Blvd
Heading east bound on Cortez, you will take a left on to Sunshine Grove Road, then a left on to Taylor Street then a left on to Grant Street, the SPCA will be on the right
From RT 19 - Commercial Way
Heading south bound on Commercial Way, take a left onto Hexam, follow around a sharp turn to right when road becomes Sunshine Grove Road, follow through traffic signal. Take the first right after the light onto Taylor Stree, then left onto Grant Street. They SPCA will be on the right
