All Pets Considered for Surrender are Required to have a Current Rabies Vaccine Certificate / Documentation
Dogs
Must have CURRENT Documentation of a Heart Worm Test with Negative results or have Vet. Prescribed HW preventative medication at time of surrender.
Cats
Must have CURRENT Documentation of a Combo Test with Negative results at time of surrender
A $75 surrender fee is required for each pet accepted at time of surrender
The SPCA Crew are not authorized to accept any cats or dogs unless the above requirements are met. These requirements apply to stray animals as well. If you are not prepared to provide the required documents, please contact your county animal services for their surrender information.
The required vaccines and tests are available for a LOW Cost at PetLuv Spay/Neuter Clinic in Brooksville, FL
